The Australian Institute of Professional Investigators
The Australian Institute of Professional Investigators The Australian Institute of Professional Investigators aims to be the premier organisation representing Australiasia's professional investigators, throughout both government and private sector organisations.
Australasian Telecommunications Fraud and Risk Association (ATFRA)
ATFRA was established to formalise the activities of individuals and
groups concerned with fraud and security risk in the Australasian
Telecommunications Industry.
This replaced an informal network, which originated when a group of
fraud and security specialists from a number of Telecommunications
companies recognised a need to mount an industry-based response to
growing issues of fraud and network security.
ATFRA is made up of Carriers and resellers, and associate membership is
extended to other interested parties.
The Institute of Analytics Professionals of Australia Limited
The IAPA mission is to unite, inform, support and promote business
analytics professionals in Australia. We provide information sources, a
virtual community, a networking hub and a professional identity. We
promote the benefits of analytics in modern business. We emphasise the
increasingly strategic role played by data analysis in the business
arena. We are committed to developing recognition of analytics
professionals in the wider business community and establishing standards
of practice, excellence, accreditation and education.
The IAPA is sponsored by leading companies in the analytics field.
Branches are established in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane.
Abacus
Australian Mutuals is the industry body for the Australian mutual
financial services sector, a strong alliance of mutual building
societies, credit unions and friendly societies.
Abacus is owned by its member institutions: 114 credit unions and mutual
building societies and represents 25 friendly societies though the
Friendly Societies of Australia. As the industry body, Abacus provides
representation and advocacy for its members to:
- federal and state governments;
- regulators, such as APRA and ASIC;
- the media;
- industry and consumer groups; and
- the general public and other stakeholders.
